Within this 3-hour workshop you will learn how to carve a linoleum block to create an image to stamp onto paper. We will also be learning how to use a print press to transfer images from your carved linoleum block to paper. You will be so impressed with how easy and fun this process is! You can use your carved block for any occasion; making your own card or postcard, use as a stamp for stationary or even frame your print and hang it in your home. It’s up to you in this fun Relief Printmaking Workshop!
The price of the workshop includes a kit with a 4” x 5” linoleum block, a carving tool with various tips for different types of cuts, a brayer to roll ink onto your block, a tube of black ink, and an instructional booklet. You can print your custom made block up to 10 times, at this workshop, on quality paper for a beautiful edition to keep or share with others!
This is a great workshop to do with friends and family! We suggest an age range of young teens to adults. For younger children programs, please visit our Youth Classes page to see what event is happening next!
