Date: Saturday, March 11th, 11-3pm
Cost: $55

Have you ever wanted to try weaving a textile using a loom? This Tapestry Weaving Workshop is the perfect introduction on how to weave your own tapestry! By the end of this 4-hour workshop you will have a beautiful handmade textile to hang on your wall at home or give to someone special. In this workshop, we will be going over the basics of various weaving techniques and how to use tools for weaving; weaving shuttle, weaving needle & weaving comb, and also, how to develop a pleasing composition and choosing the right colors for your tapestry.

The price of the workshop includes your own 10 x 8 inch loom & tools (that you take home at the end of the day!), lots and lots of yarn in different weights and colors to choose from, a dowel rod to hang your tapestry and an instructional booklet to take home.

This is a great workshop to do with friends and family! We suggest an age range of young teens to adults. For younger children programs, please visit our Youth Classes page to see what event is happening next!
